OUR FISHING LAKES
FOUNDRY POOL
Foundry pool is ideal for the angler wanting to hone his fishing skills and catch a large mixed bag of course fish. Watercraft including gravel bars, drop offs, shelves and lily pad beds are all featured here.
The pool is heavily stocked with Ide, Bream, Tench, Perch, Roach, Barble, Crucian, Chub and Carp up to 10lb. It has 13 permanent pegs, all of which are wheelchair accessible and disabled friendly. Again, this 1.5-acre pool has tackle drop off zones and is surrounded by gravel paths with easy access to the 5-star gold shower and toilet facilities. Foundry pool has been designed with the purpose of accommodating organised match fishing, corporate events, coaching days. Please contact us for more information.
There are 4 lodges allocated on Foundry Pool. 2 with direct fishing access from the decking and 2 lodges that have their own private fishing pegs.
Here at Caistor Lakes we have 3 well stocked fishing lakes. All information and rules for the lakes can be seen below.
Please be aware that you will need to provide your fishing licence when purchasing a day ticket from the main reception or upon check in for the lodges and touring park and wish to fish any of our lakes.
Please be advised: we do not reserve pegs on Foundry or Heron Pool for day fishing. We operate a first come, first to fish policy.
HERON POOL
Heron Pool is designed for the fisherman wanting to relax, unwind and enjoy a day of leisurely fishing. A truly mixed pool, a variety of Ide, Bream, Tench, Barble, Ghost Carp, Perch, Crucian, Chub, Roach, Gudgeon and Carp into double figures.
Each of the permanent pegs are wheelchair accessible with gravelled pathways, drop off tackle zones and access to the toilet and shower facilities. As with all of our pools, to ensure the health of our fish and support their natural growth, we check oxygen levels daily and nitrate and ammonia levels on a weekly basis.
There are 3 lodges allocated on Heron Pool which offer direct fishing from your decking.
ARTHURS POOL
Arthur's Pool is a moderate to hard lake to fish and is designed for the more experienced angler who enjoys the pleasures of fishing. The lake contains a large selection of carp (common and mirror), Golden Crucian and a small amount of Bream and Perch.

There are 4 lodges allocated on Arthur's which offer direct fishing from your decking; Cygnet, Shearwater, Stork & Wagtail.
