Due to the re-opening of our restaurant following the Covid19 lockdown, we are seeking a Senior CDP / Junior Sous Chef to join our team at Caistor Lakes. Caistor Lakes is a Multi award-winning platinum restaurant serving in excess of 1800 meals per week.

We are looking for someone to demonstrate the following qualities and attributes:

  • Ability to strive in a high volume/ fast paced working environment

  • Experience in cooking with locally sourced fresh produce

  • High attention to detail

  • Experience in a similar role of higher

  • A flair and passion with ingredients

  • An ability to stay calm when the pressure mounts

  • Strong leadership skills to motivate your brigade of chef

  • First rate culinary skills

  • Qualifications would be preferred, but are not essential – we are looking for someone with a proven track record in a similar role

  • Responsibilities and Duties to include, but not limited to:

  • Leading a team of chefs in cooking and preparing meals, including checking food quality and overseeing cooking techniques

  • Operating of sections within the kitchen

  • Supervising the running of sections within the kitchen

  • Designing/helping the head chef to create food menus

  • Working within specified budgets to help achieve GP targets

  • Ensuring the kitchen meets high standards of quality

  • Completing food hygiene documents to comply with the law and writing environmental health reports when necessary

  • Establishing strong relationships with staff in other areas in the business including managers and front of house teams

  • Being the voice of the kitchen when communicating with waiters and bar staff

  • Ordering supplies and negotiating with suppliers as and when required

  • Managing inventory and keeping control of stock

  • Organising produce and ensuring strict adherence to food hygiene regulations

  • Supervising all food preparation

Job role: cleaning the lodges on check-in/check out days, fill/empty hot tub, deep clean shower/toilets and reception once a week, complete the necessary paperwork - whilst adhering to Covid19 policy guidelines.

ARE YOU CRAZY ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE? We are looking for an enthusiastic Barista to provide an outstanding coffee experience. We are currently recruiting full time and part time baristas to join our expanding team. You will be responsible for providing guests drinks as requested in an efficient manner and according to proper procedure Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Grinding beans, operating a semi-automatic espresso machine, and making great coffees with the ability to train others

  • Manage an efficiently operated bar shift that is in accordance with the agreed standards and regulations

  • Use every possible opportunity to gain knowledge in all areas of the bar

  • Ensure all tables receive their drinks as requested

  • Maintain the cleanliness of all equipment used during shifts

  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar, fridges and drinks store to Health, Safety and Hygiene standards at all times

  • Show complete awareness of all the drink and food menus and readiness to explain and recommend food and drink contents

  • Comply with company Health and Safety, and fire regulation

  • Adhere to the company disciplinary policy when necessary

  • Maximise revenue and increase average spend per head through up selling

Caistor Lakes Executive Private Hire!

This role will involve picking up and driving customers from designated points within the North Lincolnshire area. Charging the right fare and returning the correct change. Keeping the car clean and in good working order during the time you are driving as well as completing maintenance checks and reports in between. Ensuring you are courteous to both other drivers and the customers, with a clear and open communication style will be key to your success in this role.

**You must have a taxi licence (preferably a West Lindsey taxi licence) prior to applying. Previous experience and knowledge of the area is essential.**

You will also need to be able to show us your excellent customer service skills and a positive and professional attitude.
Local area knowledge, or a willingness to learn, is very desirable in order to be able to engage with customers.
Flexible attitude to hours. Varied shifts expected included days, nights and weekends. Willingness to go the extra mile. Initiative to work on your own. Positive attitude.

Full clean driver's licence is essential.
